Login

• Experiencing Login problems on PC
• Can't Login with Mac
• In ServiceSpace 1.0, I think that 'Manage My Sites', 'Create New Site', and 'Delete Sites' should change the word 'site' to S.Space. This is a lot more awkward, but I think there is an important distinction. Service Space is not just the name of the Grand Site that hosts all this stuff. Each 'project' page becomes a service space. There are thousands of unique service spaces within the one Grand Service Space. The reason for this is that if it's called a service space, it becomes more clear to the user of it's intention - a space of service - as opposed to a 'site' where anything goes.
• "My profile" should be listed on the login page. It is good to encourage PledgePage users to fill this out now. Some fields we might want to include:
  • Name
  • Areas of service interests (homelessness, environment, etc.)
  • What change do you want to see in the world?
  • What makes you come alive?
  • Other interests/recommendations (fav. books, movies, sports, etc.)
  • Skills to offer
  • Occupation
  • Website
  • Affiliated orgs
  • Location (country, state, zip)
  • Contact info
• My preferences...?

Profile

• Site Title
  • is required, but there should be a box to NOT DISPLAY IT in site, if not wanted

  • Reduces the size of the graphic – which sets limits. The graphic size should only be reduced in file size and in height. Width should be allowed to full width of page (750 pixels)

  • Should also say: (for search engines) – at least until we add friendster features
  • Move into Control Panel > Site Management

  • this will lose relevance once expanded beyond pledgepage.
