Jill Flaherty (as at 9/99)
My name is Jill Flaherty, Mom to Shawne N.S. born April 19. 1969. My pregnancy was also complicated by polyhydramnios. (remember this was 30 years ago) in an attempt to prolong the pregnancy the did amniocentesis ( for mechanical reasons 7 times. Shawne was born with pulmonary stenosis and several other problems that at that time they were unable to sort out. Her motor development was very slow ,she was a terrible feeder, throwing up constantly and hardly slept. However , she is doing well now and has just returned to College to study to become a legal assistant. Shawne has identical twin sisters 15 months younger than her , and me well I am still married to my best friend Bob for nearly 32 years.
