Heather (as of 1/97)

My name is Heather and my husbands name is Rob. We have 3 children, Andrew is 7.5 and has NS, my daughter Sammy is 6 without NS, and Matthew is 2 also without NS.

We live in Canada . My husband is an electrical engineer and I stay at home. Andrew is a mild case of NS. We were lucky enough to be spared the heart problems. Everything seemed reasonably good for him until he hit grade one, when we started to observe some learning disabilities. He has spatial difficulties, and auditory processing deficit. He also has gross/ fine motor skill difficulties.

In spite of his difficulties he actually is doing OK in school. He doesn't play any sports but loves to watch. The only thing that he will fight with the other children over is his computer. He loves the computer!
