Hope for Orphans and Women Organization (HOWO) is an indigenous non governmental and non-profit making voluntary developmental Organization. It deals with the welfare of marginalized poor society particularly orphaned and abandoned children and poor women.

It is registered with the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) bearing registration number 1878 and has signed operational agreement with Disaster Prevention and Preparedness Commission (DPPC) ! of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. HOWO is operating in three Administration Regions; namely, the Addis Ababa Administration, the Amhara National Regional State (ANRS) and the Oromia Regional State.
