Mission Statement
The emergence of democracy in Nigeria is a dream come true. It has provided for much infrastructure development that has greatly improved the standard of living of the Nigerian. Although nothing but kudos can be awarded to this system of government, many of the Nigerian populace spent 19 years of their lives subject to harsh military dictatorship. 
Therefore, we have to educate these citizens of their rights that have been previously violated. We have to take the initiative and inform our students of their rights and privileges as unique citizens of a new system. We also lecture our people to not get themselves in precarious situations where they are used as mindless thugs by politicians.
To address this issue will be to attack the base of much of the nation’s civil unrest. This is where Civil Matters will defend infringed rights of the students and protect them from the use and abuse of our corrupt leaders.
