Delivering Your Donations

If you would like to donate anything to the Jamyang Foundation schools, please contact us. We will link up donated items with volunteers traveling to India. Larger items and medical supplies are donated to the school as a whole, for use by all the nuns. Smaller items should be donated in sufficient quantities that they can be equally distributed to every student in a particular project or all the students (115 in the Himalayas, 42 in Bangladesh).

Shipping costs and customs duties in India are very high. Some items, such as blankets and shoes, can be easily and inexpensively purchased in India. This avoids shipping costs, customs duties, and many hassles. You can decide what you would like to donate and we can help plan your gift. Please contact us for more information.

A thoughtful volunteer once arranged a donation of toothbrushes from the Butler company. This involved no expense on her part and the nuns were very appreciative. If you are interested in applying for in-kind corporate donations, we will be happy to assist you.
