• BeTheChange.org – Gandhi’s quote resonates with so many. The catchphrase “Be the Change” is adopted by many organizations independently (CharityFocus, SAALT’s Gandhi Day, Challenge Day, etc.). This domain, therefore, should not be claimed by just one owner -- it should be opened up for all to embrace it as their own – a space that encourages and empowers all individuals and all groups to “Be the change” - under one platform, serving all equally.

• ProPoor.org becomes BeTheChange.org – since ProPoor is looking for a new name and more functionality, it is a worthy contender for the name BeTheChange.org. In order for it to fulfill the requirements for BeTheChange.org (listed above), it would need to become a global site. Its focus on South East Asia can remain, but only as long as it has similar focuses on other areas of the world.
