Ideas: Simple Ideas are the Best

Take the Emergency Housing Consortium's suggestion to people attending Thursday's free Concert for the Homeless at Discovery Meadow in downtown San Jose: Bring beach or other towels to sit on during the show, and afterward, donate the towels to the homeless. It helps the needy (lots of people donate blankets during the winter, but the homeless need towels year 'round) and you have less to tote on the way home. Brilliant. Only one question, though: If simple ideas are the best -- and that's about all my little brain can put out -- why aren't I rich?
