Connections
This section is the heart and soul of Homeful.org.
Providing food, clothing and shelter are all important and
necessary in alleviating the difficulties of homelessness,
but in the wealthiest society in the world, these conditions
are more often just symptoms of a deeper problem.
Oftentimes, the greatest gift we can give is
the simple gift of listening - to take the time to simply
be present with another person and to hear what it is that
they have to say. In this space, not only is it possible that
we might catch a glimpse of some of the deeper issues, but
it's also likely that in this same very process, we might
discover a piece of our own deeper humanity.
In this section, volunteer writers have taken
the step of meeting up with a homeless person to listen to
their stories, and are sharing them with us. If you are interested
